The Maggie May's
Event Details
We are walking to raise funds for pancreatic cancer because our brother/brother-in-law Chris, lost his life way to early to this disease. He was a force of nature and full of fun and laughter. His signature song was Maggie May.
Not many people know pancreatic cancer is the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths in Australia with a very low survival rate of only 12.2%. Chris fought hard, he underwent lots of surgery, but he lost the fight after 11 months.
The disease receives little or no funding globally. Those affected by pancreatic cancer deserve an equal chance of survival to those diagnosed with other cancers.
Please support us as we put our best foot forward for pancreatic cancer because together we can make an impact. Even better, join the team, walk with us and raise some funds of your own!
Thank you!
